"My workshop is at home, only 30 steps from my bedroom! I designated a guest room and turned it into my workshop before my fiance moved me into the bigger, guest room. I had trouble fitting all my products within the previous 100-square foot room!"
In addition to product, Chan had all her supplies scattered around the room.
"My work table is quite messy with all my tools and materials scattered all over my table. I like the feeling of having whatever I need to use all spread out on my table. I find it really handy when I need to use any of my tools.
"I use my mini roller and toothpick the most. However, I still consider my most outlandish "tool" to be my hands. Every other tool that I've used I know I can do without. However, I cannot imagine not using my own hands to make all these lovely miniatures!"
Her creations are available at CDHM, Etsy, Dawanda and in a little shop in Toronto. Like other miniaturists, she has discovered selling on-line can have its pitfalls as well as its pleasures.
