"I was selling one of my miniature sets on-line and had this customer contact me about a large monthly order using my works as their company gifts. To my biggest surprise, that person actually wanted me to send them my product without paying anything, not even shipping!

"I found this very strange and started to ask more questions about the order. The more I asked, the more I realized there is no respect for handmade miniatures from this person and that he is not willing to pay anything at all and wanted my products for free - as if he was doing me a favour to display my work! So I called off the deal at the end. I do not appreciate people who do not respect others."

Another special order that she did fill evoked quite a different emotion for her.

"When I started selling in the little shop in Toronto last summer I received a custom order request from a gentleman to recreate his wife's favourite food and a bookshelf with books in miniature scale.
