Then, once more from the always fertile imagination of Kiva Atkinson, comes a really tasty looking "eyeball stew" I don't think I'll be going to either of their homes for dinner on Hallowe'en as I believe that eyeballs , however they are served, are an acquired taste. One that I haven't acquired yet!
We suddenly find that everyday drinks, martini, wines and cocktails, have eyeballs floating in them instead of the more normal olives or fruit and the little bowl of olives or crisps to eat with the drinks suddenly becomes a bowl of eyeballs. How tasty to be able to suck the alcohol out of an eyeball, if you are able to recover from the shock of finding one floating in your drink!
Sausage rolls could transform into severed fingers wrapped in puff pastry, hot dogs yet more severed digits in a bread bun and if we are really lucky, there will be blood dripping from the end! What about a severed hand shaped beefburger, smothered in blood and served in a bun or a finger stuffed taco? The fun is endless!
Hallowe'en foods don't all have to be made from gory or disgusting pieces of the human anatomy. (Although
