CDHM artisan Monica Graham creates custom 1:12 scale dolls house baskets including halloween decorated hand woven baskets I'm pretty partial to a piece of skull cake, with some red jelly beans oozing out of the crack in the skull where the knife has been inserted)! Eyeballs, severed digits, blood and gore to one side, all kinds of sweet variations can be found to celebrate Hallowe'en.

The food of the moment - cupcakes - find a new lease of life for Hallowe'en and instead of the pretty rose-topped delicacies most miniaturists make throughout the year we can now find them topped with anything from bats to witches, spiders and their webs to jack o' lanterns and simple pumpkins. Macaroons appear in CDHM artisan Nathalie Gireaud of Provence Miniatures creates 1:12, 1:24 and 1/4 scale dollhouse miniature foods licorice and orange flavours to represent the classic orange and black of Hallowe'en and cookies are topped with icing in the same colours, while their tins can be decorated with witches, pumpkins, ghosts, spiders, webs... do I need say more? CDHM artisan and IGMA fellow Kiva Atkinson makes 1:12 scale pottery including halloween jack o lanterns and pumpkins for the dollhouse miniatures

So on this All Hallow's Eve, you'll find me huddled by the fire eating my eyeball spaghetti with a severed finger sausage roll on the side and washing it all down with a refreshing eyeball wine. The spider-topped cupcake and pumpkin macaroon will be ready for later. I'll just ignore the thump that comes from upstairs, after all, it's only my resident ghost dropping her head from under her arm! You are more than welcome to come and join me as there'll be more than enough for two!
