Miniature dolls, due to their small size, have limited movement capability. But one of Vynette's customers wanted a jointed doll, like a miniature version of "Barbie" that could be moved and placed in any position. It was not an easy task to try and explain this to her, but Vynette not only did, she succeeded with the doll.
After that challenge, what could possibly be hard for her?
"The sourcing of natural fabric and fine cotton lace in South Africa is always a challenge. However if time permits on a project I place orders overseas for fabric through the internet."
Family is really an important part of the process for Vynette.
"Arthur is really supportive, and is both my constructive critic and also my amazing photographer, and Mom is my cheerleader."
Her brother Ken is also a very important part of Vynette's life.
