When it comes to possessing patience, and skill at smaller scales it would be hard to find a better craftsman than CDHM Forum member Dave Krakow. Having been bowled over by some of his other work - predominantly 1:87th scale - Dave's latest creation actually had me doing a double take. The precision of each pipe on this old time radiator is truly amazing. Not only does it look great, but I would wager that it might even feel warm to the touch!
I admit that I am a fan of all craftsmen, or craft-women, who have the vision and skill to turn a piece of Both images show the tiny bowl turned by CDHM Artisan Mike Juza made from yellow Elder wood wood, acrylic, or metal into a piece of art. I was lucky enough to find not one, but two artisans who have an eye for detail and a talent for design.
First up is CDHM Artisan Mike Juza, whose yellow elder burl bowl is the absolutely perfect piece for any setting. The addition of a green accent line around the top rim adds a nice touch of contrasting color.
