Southwest Mexican & Indian Dollhouse Miniatures Dusty Acres Southwest Mexican & Indian Dollhouse Miniatures. Our miniature pots are created by Southwest artist Christopher Maestas, whose Pueblo heritage was inherited from his Native American grandmother, and myself, Jude McQuay. I confess I have no Native American pedigree but I can paint and I love Southwest art. The miniature pots are formed from polymer clay, painted with acrylic and sprayed with a protective coating . Deana Maestas, who shares her brother Christopher's Pueblo heritage, makes the delightful dream catchers. Holly McQuay creates our charming baskets of clay. Both Christopher and Holly create miniature kachina dolls. Molly Schultz perfected the technique of making our rugs and ladders.
