Her love of all things tiny has also spanned many decades as well.
"Loving miniatures is my oldest memory. I have always loved tiny things and scale miniatures. As I got older, I was very excited to be able to make my own miniatures. I have collected all things tiny since I was a baby. I called it my 'little tiny things collection.' Every time my mom was at the dime store (we called it the 5 & 10 back then) she would buy me a new piece of Petite Princess furniture. It cost .57 cents back in 1964! I even still have the original boxes, complete with price stickers. I have this furniture in my dollhouse now, though I didn't have a house as a child."
"There is nothing I love more than going down to my basement workshop and going to work. When I was around six years old, the family went to the Ernest Warther Museum. He is the most incredible carver ever and I was inspired. I love realism. My goals are to make everything as realistic as possible. Whether it is a drawing that looks like a photograph, a carving of an animal that comes to life or a dollhouse accessory that is exactly like the original."
