CDHM artisan Linda Master creating under the business name of Miracle Chicken Miniatures carving wooden dollhouse miniature dolls, hitty and animals "I was quite honored when recently my 1:144 scale Noah's Ark was chosen for a cover of the National Woodcarvers Association magazine. I was commissioned to CDHM artisan Linda Master creating under the business name of Miracle Chicken Miniatures carving wooden dollhouse miniature dolls, hitty and animals make a 1:6 scale rooster for a diorama in a museum. I have been featured in miniature magazines and woodcarving magazines and I've written several how-to articles for a miniature magazine.

"The tinier the scale, the better! I make most dollhouse miniatures in 1:12 scale but that's because it is what most people ask for. I will do any scale, everything I make is custom, but for my hand-carved animals I love 1:144," said Masters.

This multi-faceted artist has her talented fingers in many artistic pies, including doing bodywork on her 1971 Volkswagon!

"It's all art to me! I do so many different things but I suppose I am most known for hand-carved, hand-painted wood miniature animals in all scales. I also make custom pet cremation urns, building the box from wood and personalizing it with a miniature carved wood figure of the pet from the person's own photos. The name is chip-carved into the top, and there is a frame for a photo. It is a beautiful memorial. I also make human urns, also personalized with hand-carved, hand-made miniatures."
