CDHM dollhouse miniature halloween contest winner in scale miniatures As compared to a full scale dollhouse, that is. And each scale still presents its own set of challenges, something she finds appealing.

"The Tudor Pumpkin was difficult to create for several reasons. The dormers had to be fitted individually to follow the contour of the pumpkin and the foundation of the house has spider legs that I had to build specially to support the house.

CDHM 1:12 and 144 scale dollhouse miniatures foods, dolls, fantasy furniture and art dolls "Then, because I like challenges, I decided to add lighting to this tiny house. The interior light and the light pole in front of the house work. The control switch is built from scratch - it is actually the middle tombstone on the right hand side. To turn the light on, you push back on the tombstone and to turn it off you pull forward. The electric work was done in such a way that no wires are seen."
