What has been the hardest part of crafting miniature foods as seen through Hanna's eyes?
"One thing that can be tricky is to get the exact right color and lightness in food. If the color looks too flat or sharp it doesn't matter how well sculpted the miniature is, it won't look realistic."
Home for Hanna is in Gothenburg, Sweden, where her miniature magic takes place.
"I have recently gained the luxury of a room dedicated to my miniature making, and it feels great that I no longer have to move my miniatures around!"
She also counts herself lucky in other ways.
"It's wonderful to be able to make miniature food. When I sit down and start making them I really relax and often forget about the rest of the world. I am also very grateful that I have such a supportive and lovable family and a wonderful soul mate in my husband."
Although no one in her family is involved in making miniatures themselves, Hanna says they are very fascinated by them, and her family has been very encouraging and supportive since she started making miniatures.
In her spare time Hanna likes to play piano, draw sketches or do a little scrap booking, but it's hard to find the time.
