"Most of the interior furnishings are from the old shop, but there are lots of new things too. The new Wise Ways has more space for shopping and some new inventory. The research room upstairs has been expanded to include a lab table and a lovely relaxation area where witches and wizards can sit and chat, read, or listen to music. Best of all is the wonderful front porch and the garden on the side!
"Not only was the shop a lot of fun to build, but the landscaping came together as it only can when something is meant to be. Even the frog in the bird bath fit into the theme! Inside the shop, most of the wares on the shelves were made by myself specifically for the store. There are over 300 books on the shelves and the seashell lamps and lighted crystal balls add so much ambiance to the store.
"Sarah Ann says that her shop has personality and character now and I agree with her! I am so grateful to Dean and Lisa at Greenleaf for re-releasing the Brimbles! I love having this delightful neighborhood of fantasy in my own living room and often spend happy hours cuddled into a chair while I 'visit' my magical friends. At some point I'm sure that I'll be adding more to it because I can't get enough of the magical and fantasy themes. Somewhere along the line I'm going to need to add a stable for dragons and other magical creatures."
And she's not only considering new buildings in the regular dollhouse scale of 1:12 fantasy houses, either.
