Step 8
After you get enough tiny heart shaped sugar decorations, remove the rest of your clay from the tile or the glass.
Bake all the raspberries with the molds and hearts in the oven according to the manufacturers instructions. Here, I've cooked the clay at 110c (230F) for 15-20 minutes. I suggest you make at least six raspberries and 1 tiny heart for this tutorial.
Step 9
While the berries and hearts are baking, we will begin to prepare the base of the macaroon.
Start by mixing your clays. Combine and condition 1/8 ounce of the #32 white, 1/8 ounce of the #32 transparent white and a pinch of red. Your clay should be the color of pale pink.
Step 10
You can also add a tiny amount of orange clay to make a warmer rose color according to your preference.
Step 11
Pass your rose color clay through the pasta machine with 2mm (just over 1/16") thickness. Cut at least circles. Always in even numbers (in pairs).
Leave the clay on the tile and get several little round shapes of clay using a Kemper cutter round 5/16" (8mm)(#PC4R).
Step 12
In the following, I will suggest to use a needle tool, a scrub sponge and a toothbrush (optional) to make texture on the macaroons.
