"My husband bought my first dollhouse kit for me almost 20 years ago after I had seen a friend's dollhouse. I was so impressed by all of the tiny accessories and details, most of which she made herself, and I just couldn't stop talking CDHM category feature, CDHM The Miniature Way, June 2010 Dollhouse Tourism, featuring CDHM Artisan Lori Turner-Dolinsek creates 1:24 scale and 144 scale dollhouses about it. But once I got into the hobby, I found that I actually enjoy the building and finishing more than filling them up with furniture and accessories," said Heather Garrison of Fancy Dollhouses, whose exacting standards for detail make her creations as close to perfect as humanly possible.

We adapt all chandeliers and sconces so you can switch them around and change the look of each room whenever you want!" she said.

"But I really love to add special custom features in every single dollhouse I build. Sometimes it may be an extra architectural element, other times my special touch is seen in the custom interior design," she added.
