When I was accepting commissions I found myself having to make five or six of the exact same things over and over, and when they were finally finished, another five or six of a different thing over and over.
"I could tell that though it was good for my business in the short-term, it was going to have devastating results in the long-term. I know that if I'm unable to be creative and constantly make new and different things, I was heading for major "burn-out" in no time. If I'm not enjoying what I'm doing, it's going to show in my work. I certainly didn't want to compromise the quality of my work to increase sales.
