Michelle calls Winkler, Canada, home where she lives with her husband and her two daughters.
"My eight-year-old daughter thinks that the afghans I make are beautiful. She wishes that we could keep them all. I've done one of them with bedspread cotton for her Barbie dolls. My husband thinks that they are lovely and my friends can't believe I can crochet something so tiny," she said.
"I had to slow down on the dollhouse afghans when my three-year-old daughter, Jasmine, was younger. She kept thinking that the balls of tatting thread were balls and kept running off with them and getting them tangled in things. She's much better now, and I've been able to resume crocheting afghans."
