Now I'm a collector and artisan too. I love miniatures! "My favorite flowers to make are bulbous ones, like daffodils, irises and tulips. Sometimes they are made for outdoor gardens, others are made for indoor arrangements. I haven't a favorite period or style, sometimes I like to make a classical Victorian indoor plant, sometimes I do a minimalist arrangement."
Some of her preferences are predicated not by her wishes, but by customer demand.
"I like so much to work with lilacs or with Dutch irises, but customers prefer my geraniums and tomatoes in 1/12 and one-half scale. I have made thousands of micro-flowers for geraniums!"
