Cristina makes her flowers and leaves using punched paper and florists' wire. Each leaf or petal is hand-colored one at a time until she achieves the particular look of the plant or flower she is trying to capture.
"The hardest part with my creations is repeating the same thing over and over again. Cutting leaves, shaping and veining take a considerable amount of time, but when the hard work is done, the final touches are gorgeous and I try to make each tree or plant special."
Her passion for miniatures started at an early age.
