"But I usually work in the living room, as I haven't got the possibility to have a workshop on this level of the house. I have a nice secretaire that a carpenter built me and that I painted to match my furniture. It is really very, very useful, big enough to make minis and able to be closed when (NEVER) I'm not working.
"My table is always a big, big mess with tools, colors and brushes all together. I have bought some very useless wooden tools, some cutters and good brushes but many of my tools aren't real tools, I see a tool in everything I see, especially my fingers."
Her tiny teapots are created using cold porcelain, which is a tricky craft material for many artists but not for Lory.
"I love the cold porcelain, it is so soft and smooth, the only trouble is that it dries very quickly so a lot of time is wasted wrapping and unwrapping it."
