"I think the hardest part of making miniatures is to think of new things every time. I specialize in teapots and to tell the truth after all the teapots I've made it is a bit difficult to think of a new design, the easiest part is the realization of what I think of to do.
"I am inspired by nature and the fantasy world - maybe the fact that I am a child inside is a good help. I sincerely don't know, the ideas usually come along," she added.
"I have always been a fan of Betsy Niederer's work, she is one of the first miniaturists I noticed at the beginning. Outside the miniature world I love the Bramlyhedge stories - those mice are really inspiring and I love them above everything else."
Her love of mice helped out with a recent sale, as well.
"A lovely British eight-year-old girl called Lola made a custom order for her mouse house. I was very happy to work for her and wish I could be a fly and see her lovely face when she opened the box," said Lory.
