For those of you who have a hankering for the sun-drenched Southwest when you're trapped in a snowstorm, check out Rodolfo Acosta's unique handcrafted small scale dollhouses in Spanish, Mexican, Southwest Santa Fe and Adobe styles. He creates with such authenticity that you might think you were seeing a real home in the Southwest - but in reality the walls are only ¼ inch thick and the whole building fits nicely in your own home!
CDHM Artisan Rodolfo Acosta creates adobe half scale dollhouses, which are finished in the Southwestern style in the interior. Check out the fireplace and wooden door. Although the icicles may still be sparkling on your windows it would sure be easy to visualize the hot sun found shining on these half (1/24) scale works of art. Rodolfo's exteriors are painted with stucco and the doors, stairs, vigas and windows are stained. Many of these dollhouses even include fireplaces and authentic details such as ladders on both interior and exterior walls.
If you haven't peeked into the brilliant world of smaller scale miniatures yet, we hope to see you soon! Here's to a Happy New Year!
