"I've also taught several online tutorials on the CDHM forum and Minidollslist and published others in the former French magazine 'Vitrines et Mobilier Miniatures' and published a book in France last year, 'Miniatures en Pate Fimo©,' editor Dessain et Tolra.
Sometime in the future she wants to be the student to learn how to make wooden furniture. To date she has only crafted simple shelves, but anticipates learning wood carving, staining and more.
Nathalie lives for the moments when customers view her work and say, "Oh, it looks so real!" It makes the hard parts worth the effort.
"The hardest part is to create a series of things, or conversely, to create unique items. When you have to make 20 similar cakes, the 20th is really difficult to make! But, too, when you have an order for 15 different miniatures, you have to set tools and supplies for each of them, then change them for the next one and so on... It's very time consuming although satisfying at the same time - I love orders!
