"And of course there were many examples of projects inside the pages. As soon as I was back home I subscribed, then ordered all the past issues."
By the next year she attended the Alexandra Palace Fair with her sister, who is also interested in miniatures.
"I spent two whole days buying lots of supplies, some how-to books and even some miniatures, too - I was the last person to retrieve my coat from the cloakroom that Saturday afternoon! It was better than Christmas. Then at home I began to make some miniatures, especially Fimo© minis. I had discovered Sue Heaser's books and loved modelling food. But I also loved working with leather, fabrics and beads."
Her early frustrations attempting to find pieces in the miniature world has given her a wide creative scope and she tries to offer as large variety as she possibly can to her own customers.
