"When I was pregnant with my daughter Victoria, I decided to build her a little room box to hang in the nursery. And I then searched all around France for some supplies! There were only at this time two shops in Paris selling some minis and also some plans to make your own rooms and doll's houses. No internet in 1993, so here in the south of France it was impossible to find a single miniature-related item. I finally succeeded in making something I liked, but in no special scale."
Three years later, while on a job assignment in London, she rediscovered miniatures only to find that there was an entire world out there that had already made the discovery. Outside of France, her former playtime occupation was a thriving hobby business that she became determined to join.
"In a London bookstore I discovered the magazine, 'Doll's House and Miniature Scene.' I spent the three days I had reading and reading again the magazine, discovering that miniatures were a very popular hobby here in the UK, that there were shops, clubs, fairs...
A dream!
