Polymer Clay
Let your imagination fly and your hands
will do the work! Another mention to
Carolyn's work: she does awesome cactus
and succulent plants with polymer clay.
Have you seen her aloe vera plant?
►
Air Dry Clay
Cold porcelain for example, which can
be rolled paper thin works the same as
polymer clay. Infinite possibilities!

Dried Foliage and Flowers
As for aquarium plants, size does matter,
but they are really good to grow "fast
plants". Some dried foliage is really tiny,
and it's great to go with flowers in a vase.
►
Paper (tissue, rice paper)
Amazing stuff can be made with paper. You can tint it to the colour of your choice and you can
mold it. Punches and scissors will be needed.

Silk Flower Parts
Use scissors to cut a strip of silk fabric in the color of your
choosing. Cut a scalloped edge along the top of the strip,
working lengthwise. The wavy edge will create the petals of
the flower. Push a threaded needle into the bottom edge at
one end of the strip and loosely baste along that edge. Pull
the thread when you reach the end of the strip to create a
gathered effect. Snip the needle from the thread. Tie the
thread in a knot.
Roll the gathered strip, working from one end toward the
other. Roll as loosely or tightly as you desire to create
flower the size and style of flower head you want.
Adjust the as needed. Take a short piece of floral wire,
with a droplet of glue, and insert into the end of the piece.

Ribbon
Who doesn't know ribbon roses?
Using small ribbon, you can wind them into pretty little
flowers with the aid of floral wire and a bit of glue!
