CDHM Artisan John Allard creates scale dollhouses miniatures and character dolls For the tradition angle he looks forward to a Yankee Swap every year with his friends. This fun tradition involves each person bringing a swap gift costing no more than $20USD (14.75€), drawing a number and picking a wrapped gift in turn.

As it becomes your turn you can choose to keep the gift you opened or swap it for anyone else's. This fun game leads to a lot of laughing, yelling and hiding of gifts, according to John. It definitely sounds like a merry time will be had by all at his party!

One of John's gifts to the small scale world is the little unicorn created from polymer clay and synthetic hair that has been hand painted and sealed. This sweet little one measures only 1 3/4 inches from hoof to tip of the horn.
