The Philly show is pretty huge and it's almost impossible to see everything in one day, especially because the dealers are in separate rooms and the exhibits are in another area. This division makes it definitely worth it to attend the show both days. Some other CDHM members that were there but I didn't get to visit were Barbara Vajnar of Bubba’s Mini Country Cupboards, Colvin Dolls ~ Mini Doll Kits, IGMA Artisan Diane Paone, just to name a few.
I usually spend a small fortune at the show but this year I only bought 15 back issues of Dollhouse Miniatures Magazine (which are like gold to me!!!) and some individual cupcake tins since I struggle terribly with trying to make decent cupcake papers. And why, you may ask, didn't I spend more? Because I was having so much fun talking with fellow miniature enthusiasts and studying and admiring the artisans' work that time got away from me!
The miniature community is one big happy family and I consider the show as an annual family reunion where you get to meet more and more new relatives each year! And I'm already looking forward to next year.
