From choosing the home to celebrate the holiday in or picking out the turkey, inspiration can strike at anytime. A well laid-out table with all kinds of goodies could turn into a duplicate miniature scene for one artist. Or the resulting kitchen mess of a day of baking might inspire another. But just like Halloween inspires me, other families are brought together by Thanksgiving and inspiration is in the air everywhere.

Similar scenes play out in houses throughout America at this time of year. Couches and chairs are filled with overstuffed family members passed out from too much to eat while other groups might be sitting around a table laughing and sharing stories of the past.
