The Miniature Way, Special Feature on dollhouse miniature about the tudor style by CDHM Forum member Margaret Cassidy, IGMA Artisan

People often ask me how I research food and accessories for various The Miniature Way, Special Feature on dollhouse miniature about the tudor style in scale by CDHM Forum member Margaret Cassidy, IGMA Artisan periods in British History. It all comes down to good note-taking! I have been making notes in a big file on my computer for quite a few years now and I thought I would share some of my sources and information on the Tudors.

Nowadays there is, of course, a wealth of information available on the internet, however an excellent source for information in the UK is the Children's section at our Public Libaries.

It is here that School National Curriculum books are available for loan, although for a shorter time period than other books.

I also scour bookstores for old books. Sometimes my family helps. My daughter visited Hampton Court Palace and bought me 'The Tudor Kitchens Cookery Book.'
