Nowadays Spain is host to a few shows about miniatures and dollhouses, the largest being the Tom Bishop's Miniature Fair every November at Hotel Convencion in Madrid. Since 2007 the Angela Jones Expositions/MIME (Madrid International Miniatures Exposition) comes to the same hotel every February.
Other cities, too, have come to endorse the miniatures hobby. There are local fairs and expositions in Barcelona has Associació d'Artesans Miniaturistes
de Catalunya, Valencia offers the Angela Jones Expositions, and Malaga has Casas de Muñecas, all celebrated once a year more or less with a good rate of attendance from local collectors.
Shows are the best opportunity for fans, collectors and newbies to increase their miniature collections and sometimes to introduce potential miniaturists to a marvelous world.
