The Emporium was by no means her first venture into the magical realm. She had already transformed The Orchid dollhouse kit into a tidy cottage for her redheaded siren of a witch and a Glencroft into the abode of Percutio and his pet dragon, Phideau. The two are connected by a tiny cemetery, and, of course, their very own once upon a time tale.
"I wrote 'Maharet and Percutio; A Love Story in Miniature' as a story to accompany the houses. Maharet is the elemental witch who settled her house next to Percutio's while he was away at a conference. She is a true 'wise woman' who works with herbs, the tarot and elemental energies for her spells.
"Percutio Vulcanus was a widower whose wife's passing may or may not have been the result of an accident with Phideau. Grief-stricken at her passing, he moved to a secluded valley with Phideau to practice his art in solitude."
Until the day a sly wind blew the wise Maharet onto the scene. The surprise appearance of Maharet and her cottage created a match made in mini heaven and the stuff of romance novels everywhere. Their houses were soon joined by Sidhe Carrigan, home to the Emerald Fairy, gardener of semiprecious stones for the gnomes and trolls to horde and hide, to form the beginnings of Magick Street. And then, finally, the longed-for Wise Ways Emporium inhabited by the incomparable Sarah Ann.
