If your dad is anything like me or my own father, then he loves gadgets, I mean what guy doesn't? Forget the ties, the colognes, the awful t-shirts with some ridiculous phrase across it, if you want to see your dad smile get him some tech. It doesn't have to be huge tech, it could be a Bear Gryll's multi function survival tool, or a screwdriver with a flashlight built in, or a beer mug with flashing lights... Whatever, but a gadget (preferably a good one) is always a welcome gift.
I mean, seriously, do I want to go to work with my t-shirt that says "world's greatest dad" to show off around the water cooler or do I want to bring in the world's smallest remote control car to buzz around someone's desk? Take it from me, the $20 remote control car will go over bigger and it will show everyone what a fantastically thoughtful family Dad has, the mere smile on Dad's face when he opens the package should be worth it all. Well in honor of Father's Day I want to talk about a tool that would make any gadget-junky dad weak in the knees: the 3-d rapid proto-typer!
