According to folklore, anyone who is worried - or troubled - by something (particularly children) needs to take a doll from the bag each night and whisper that worry to the doll and put it under their pillow. The doll will then worry in place of the person so the person can get a good night's sleep and wake up without the troublesome worry that was taken away by the doll during the night. In the case of a child, the parent removes the doll during the night to reinforce the idea that it took the worry. The tiny dolls are so simply constructed that the child can even make their own set with a little help from their parents. And who couldn't help but benefit from a six-day course by their very own Worry Removal Team?
