Step 1
If you do have some ready icing, skip this Step, otherwise, You will need white + liquid clay.
Tear the clay into pieces and add some liquid clay. Poke the clay with a pointy tool, in order to make holes and add some extra liquid clay into the holes.
You can let the mix rest a bit and then mix again. I realized that if you let the mix rest it will be easier to mix.
Mixing is long and painful so be brave! Start your mixture now and I will remind you to stir the mixing during the lesson.
Step 2
Mix ½ ocher polymer clay + ½ translucent + brown + a tiny bit of red together.
The mixture will darken when baked due to the translucent, so if you don't have ocher you can use an alternative: yellow and brown; don't make it too dark.
Step 3
Flatten the clay with a roller or a pasta machine. Make it approx. 2-3mm (just over 1/16"-just over 3/32" ) thick.
Using various cutters, paper punches and a blade, cut out tiny cookie shapes.
Make varying sizes, larger ones are ok. I made some stars and hearts.
Be sure to make hearts.
Step 4
Take the sand paper and texture each cookie by applying the sand paper lightly to the shapes.
Smooth the edges.
Step 5
Grab your straight pin.
Using your pin you can texture the sides of some cookies to make them look like cake (as if they've been cut after being baked).
