To Make Your Mum-mified Skeleton: Start by scrunching up some tissue paper and push it into the chest cavity to fill the void. Rip fine manageable strips of tissue.
Use a cheap paintbrush to coat the skeleton and the tissue strips with PVA glue and cover the entire skeleton doing one small section at a time. Use a blunted cocktail stick to push the coated tissue into all the crevices. Be careful covering the head, as you still want the teeth and eye sockets to be visible.
Once the skeleton is covered with tissue, go over it with a coat of PVA glue, to make sure all the tissue is completely glued down. Then leave it to dry thoroughly.
This part is optional: if you want your skeleton to look like a mummified fairy, then make two pointed ears (Small Tear Drops) from polymer clay - I used Fimo© .
