Step 6
Next, take the rectangular cardboard and round it.
You need to soften and form it a bit so you will have a nice round barrel form.
Step 7
Hold the barrel so the ends are tight together. Take the tape and wound it around the barrel twice.
Step 8
If the tape is wider than the barrel, cut it to the right width.
Step 9
Now take the second piece of fabric 1"x3" (2,5cm x 8cm) and glue it onto the outside of the barrel.
There will be a slight gap of about ¼" (0,5cm). This is ok.
Step 10
Again take the trim and glue it onto the edge of the barrel front and back.
Try to get the barrel as round as possible. Don't be shy. Squeeze it!
