Her creations in micro 1/144 scales are simply stunning, from an oak tree suitable for all settings to a specialized urban garden tree set in a clay-created stone surround. Inspired by spring, the Aspringhigh tree spirals above the ground, giving delightful meaning to the phrase "Spring Has Sprung".

The realism of Jax's trees encompasses all sides of nature, as she has even created a 1/48 scale tree that was hit by lightning.

While growing up, she used to make little gardens in old baking trays with tiny plants. Now they are handmade in small scale miniature bringing the happiness of childhood memories to all of us today. Measuring under an inch tall and meant to represent a piece of English PREVIOUS PAGE AND ABOVE, Half scale tree and pink bonsai by Jax Perrat of Trees n' Trains coastline is this unique pebble garden. She creates different varieties like an oriental spring tray garden and English-styled tray gardens as well.

A favorite springtime memory that Jax shared with us is when she got married in the Channel Islands, spring comes earlier on Guernsey and most of the island was shut during her nuptials.
