So what does the future hold for Michelle and her craft? There are many more afghans, and many ideas just waiting to come to life.
"I would like to continue to find patterns to adapt to 1:12 scale. I hope to sell most of what I do create so that the afghans go to people who enjoy using them as much as I enjoyed making them. Mostly I'll try to sell enough to continue to add to the tatting thread collection I seem to have started.
"You know, I am most grateful for my family. I have two beautiful daughters and a wonderful husband. They just enrich my life in so many ways. And it feels good to finish an afghan and show it to my husband and get positive feedback. But I get the most satisfaction when someone buys it and sends an email saying how much they love it!"
The price for most of Michelle's work is between US$10.00 to $15.00, and you can see more of her work in her Gallery here at CDHM.
