As we are on the subject of fruit and spring, for me there's one fruit that truly symbolises the death of winter and the beginning of spring and that is rhubarb! For those of you who have never tried this wonder of the fruit world, you just don't realise what you are missing! Rhubarb may be a humble fruit, but it is reliable, growing with more vigour every spring, and so delicious whether it's used to make a delicious crumble or simply eaten raw, dipped in sugar! 1:12 Easter basket loaded with goodies by Nathalie Gireaud Although I hate to include photographs of my own work, I just couldn't locate another picture of miniature rhubarb... Am I the only one to love it, I wonder?
Spring cannot go by without a mention of the 1:12 Easter eggs in decorated boxes by IGMA Fellow Betsy Niederer celebration of Easter, which this year is on 24th April, so I leave you with an Easter treats basket from Nathalie Gireaud overflowing with symbols of spring: chicks, Easter egg and Easter bunny which would be a delight to receive, and some beautifully spring-like, tiny Easter eggs in fresh and sunny boxes from IGMA Fellow Betsy Niederer.
