A lover of all things mini since childhood, Ann remembers her first dollhouse, also built by her father.

"As a small child it was easiest to carry and play with all things small. My Dad built us a lovely dollhouse with working lights (a novelty almost a half a century ago) and he built us an HO scale train board featuring a mechanized car track staged with a realistic German village which lit up in the night. These two items completely took up the playroom!"

Her collection of minis continues to this day, and if we could take a virtual tour of her home we would find all sorts of wonderful miniatures hiding here and there.
