One January morning I was out riding my horse through the woods. The sun was just coming over the hill, and the wind was blowing little frosty sparkles through the tangle of tree branches. There was a coating of snow on the ground, and the entire scene reminded me of sprinkled sugar and icing.
Well... just about everything reminds me of food. It probably isn't surprising that some of my favorite foods to make in miniature are liberally iced and sprinkled with lots of sugar. So tell me, what doll wouldn't love it, too? The CDHM food makers have been busy cooking up and decorating some amazing wintery and sparkly treats to tempt you and your dolls!
I have to admit that when I first saw Cindy Teh's iced snowflake cookies and sled I was amazed. The tiny swirls and curls made by Cindy's expert piping technique raise these delightful tiny treats to the level of miniature perfection.
