CDHM Artisan Lori Turner-Dolinsek creates 144 scale dolls houses in dollhouse miniature collector I enlisted the expertise of two extraordinary micro scale artisans who routinely craft dollhouses in the 1/144 scale. Pat Carlson (skywind) and Lori Turner-Dolinsek (loshcosh) were given the challenge of decorating a micro house with a American theme.

Pat says if she were to try to make a house with a red, white and blue color scheme, she would probably start with the découpage technique and/or paint. Then... who knows? As her little cottages come to life, they tell her what's needed next. CDHM Artisan Pat Carlson of Skywind Dollhouse Miniatures makes 144 scale dollhouse miniature roomboxes

Lori, who loves the landscaping part of creating her micro projects, advised making red, white and blue flowers for the landscaping. She would also print bunting out on paper, cut it and then glue it onto thread. A great way to attach festive bunting to a porch or window sills in any scale is to a porch would be "Mini-Hold", a popular wax adhesive that is not permanent. CDHM Artisan Jax Perrat of Ceynix Trees and Trains creates 144 scale dolls houses roomboxes with trees and landscaping in dollhouse and railroad scales

You think Jax Perrat of Ceynix Miniature Trees 'n' Trains only makes beautiful trees and landscaping? Check out her 144 scale roomboxes, and tiny castle scenes full landscaped or her half scale landscape scenes. She offers so much more in the smaller scale. Or check out Dave Krakow's 1:48 scale wooden furniture.
