Inspiration lurks everywhere, from old books to her garden. There are also several artists who inspire her.

And of course it is always inspiring to know where some of your creations end up.
"The most exciting sale I've ever made was when I sold a set of "Wizard of Oz" books to the great-grandson of L. Frank Baum. He wrote me and said they were "Oz-some"! That really made my day!"
A copy of her miniature book "The Ugly Duckling" resides in the Special Collections, Reference and Instructional Services Dept., of Jackson Library UNC, Greensboro, NC and a version of her miniature yearbook is in Seth Poppel's museum of High School Yearbooks.
